When I really want to thank someone

I close my eyes and pray

Asking God to pour out his richest
      blessings on you

Each and everyday

It’s really not too much to ask

For he just wants you to see

You were actually blessing God

Good morning Lord, it's me again

In need of a good friend

You've been there for me in the past

And all I did was simply ask

A person I love is heading your way

And they are looking for a place to
     stay

You know them well from head to toe

You placed them in my life

And made me feel whole

Although it hurts to see them go

The memories I can surely hold

And while I'll miss them day and night

I look forward to the time when we'll
      again be reunited
